Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. Calvano was born in California and initially was fascinated by gymnastics. Later, she decided to pursue a career in acting. In an episode of CBS's"NCIS," the show "NCIS", she debuted in the year 2010. In the biographical crime-drama movie J Edgar, she made her debut in front of the camera a just a few months later. Over the years she's established herself as one the most promising actors in the field. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she received a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, for the role of a guest on Disney XD's 'Kickin' It Comedy Series, she received another nomination for a Young Artist Award. Calvano starred in Mom's first three seasons. She she also appeared in several episodes throughout the fourth. The year 2015 was the year she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her appearance in Mom.
