Alison Pill

Pill initially appeared in Canadian films, but did not take long to break into market share in the American market. The most notable of these appearances was an episode of the Canadian show Traders that starred Bruce Gray. Pill got a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar. The episode was titled "Would, Could, Shoulda". Directly after her work in Picard, Pill appeared in the lead role of the acclaimed 2020 science fiction mini-series Devs (served by the digital production company VFX Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, and like she had in Picard she was in every episode of that series while taking on a role that was very similar in the role of science-fiction character "Katie". Its resemblance with Picard didn't end there. The show's creators revealed the same year, the primary theme of the series was around the preservation of consciousness in an artificial structure.
